I'm moving on! Here we are in the blog world. This will be a place for me to share my artistic photos with friends and family. I won't be doing wedding/portraiture/commercial work anymore (unless of course I have the honour of doing it for a close family member or friend). I hope you enjoy all that is to come.
Photography is my art form and one of the few places I get to express myself. Stay tuned for some new photoshoots coming up. I'm very excited about them.
In case you didn't know, and were curious, I have been photographing for 13 years ( in the professional world ). I have my degree in professional photography from New York Institute of Photography (winning awards in boudoir/portraiture) but since I became a full time teacher I am devoting my time and energy to that passion. I'm hoping to find some of my photography from when I was a kid and post it here too. I've been doing it as long as I can remember. I love that it is the art of seeing, and showing that "seeing" to other people.
I had an instructor of mine tell me: photography is just painting with lighting and capturing the moment. I can't wait to share those moments here with you!
